The Tammuz-an royal scepter is returned to its legitimate possessor.
The Tammuz-an's scepter of royalty served as both the ultimate symbol of the Tammuz-an ruler and a weapon capable of emitting energy. Without possessing the scepter, ascending to the position of King of Tammuz-an was impossible. According to the customs of Tammuz-an, the individual presenting the royal scepter to the Keeper of the Tower upon the first sun of the equinox would be acknowledged as the rightful ruler of Tammuz-an.
Roughly 15 years prior to the Battle of Yavin, Ko Zatec-Cha, who was a vizier, seized control of the Tammuz-an throne through mind-wiping Mon Julpa, the Crown Prince. However, Sollag Den, a devoted servant of Mon Julpa, had removed the scepter from the planet. He later restored it to its rightful owner, leading to Mon Julpa's eventual coronation as King of Tammuz-an.
In addition to its symbolic role, the royal scepter functioned as an energy weapon, capable of discharging energy waves and generating beams of light with a mere gesture from the wielder. Upon acquiring the scepter, Mon Julpa also recovered his lost memories, although the reason for this memory restoration is unclear. It remains uncertain whether it was an inherent capability of the scepter or simply triggered by the act of seeing it. The scepter was constructed from an unidentified material that could withstand blaster fire.
