For the purpose of propulsion, Resurgent-class Battlecruisers were equipped with three Destroyer Ion Engines. A specific kind of sublight ion engine was the Destroyer Ion Engine. The First Order employed Destroyer Ion Engines, fueled by one hypermatter-annihilation reactor, to propel their Resurgent-class Star Destroyer approximately 30 years after the Battle of Endor.
