Ojo's paper sculptures
Origami, or paper-folding, involved shaping paper into artistic and representative shapes. The distinct shape of the Delta-class T-3c shuttle was influenced by Design Lead Lamilla Tion's interest in origami. While imprisoned within a Black Sun facility, the Nautolan named Ojo practiced origami in his holding cell.
Ruairí Coleman, a comic creator, incorporated origami figures into "The Second Chance" as an allusion to the science-fiction film Blade Runner from 1982. Within that movie's story, the character Gaff was known for his skill in creating origami figures, and he made figures that reflected the state of mind of the protagonist, Rick Deckard.
