A maritime shipyard utilized by the Rebel forces, representing just one kind of maritime shipyard. Docks, often called shipyards, served as military installations where sea-faring vessels, such as utility trawlers, destroyers, and frigates, were constructed. Groups that used them included the Trade Federation, the Grand Army of the Republic, the Wookiees, the Royal Naboo Security Forces, the Galactic Empire, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, the Rebel Alliance, and the Gungans.
The Galactic Empire's Naval Shipyards, in their initial phase, displayed an "I-shape" design and appeared rather basic, featuring minimal walls and exposed generators and support beams. The shipyard also featured entrances to docking areas on the left, right, and bottom sides of the docks, with a total of seven docks (including the I-shaped structures).

With further construction, the shipyards achieved a more solid look, concealing the exposed wires. The roof was also completed, featuring a sloping design along the shipyard's spine. A gate was present in the southernmost part of the structure.

Following additional upgrades, the Naval Shipyards fully enclosed the structure, except for the spine, which now had a full gate extending into the water. The two sides also had a sloped appearance, resembling half-circles.

Upon final completion, the Naval Shipyards towered over the earlier models, with its central gate in an open position. A small panel was also located at the bottom of the southern area.
The docks, at least in their initial form, had a T-shape.
The initial construction phase included metallic stairs connecting the main control tower to the docks, along with two exterior hangars, one on each side of the tower. Eventually, a larger walkway was added to the docks, with the docks themselves located beneath the walkway.
As with most CIS facilities of that era, the design was primarily based on Geonosis architecture.
Initially, the docks were partially submerged, with development and shipments appearing disorganized. Over time, they were successfully integrated, and the docks were eventually elevated. In their final configuration, the docks were T-shaped and situated on raised terrain. Ships entered and exited beneath a bridge that connected the docks to an entryway into the main facilities.
The shipyards exhibited a largely prismatic design, characterized by aquamarine and white color schemes.
A slender pole connected the docks and the main shipyard building, maintaining their separate structures initially. However, they were later linked by two iron angular beams, and the main building was expanded to include a tower with three circular knobs at the top.
