A Naboo woven wall hanging showing Kwilaan
Woven wall hangings, also known as tapestries, were substantial textile artworks known for their elaborate, pictorial designs. These items were often used as wall decorations. Frequently, they showcased notable figures or significant moments in history; these were called heritage tapestries. Some tapestries were highly valued works of art, commonly displayed within palaces and castles throughout the galaxy, as well as prominent locations such as the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant. The materials used to create tapestries varied and could include silkweed sourced from Kushibah, the underfur of Guarlara, or even fiberplast.
