Kshyy vines were a type of plant that thrived on the wroshyr trees found on the planet Kashyyyk. As an offering to a terentatek, the Wookiees would suspend sacrifices from a kshyy vine. Remarkably, these vines possessed self-repairing properties, rendering them impervious to damage, even from blaster fire.
On Kashyyyk, kshyy vines served as a means of both securing and vertically transporting liftcars. While these vines were susceptible to degradation or breakage from unchecked fungal growth and parasitic infestations, the liftcars were equipped with repulsorlifts to act as an auxiliary system.
