The Keshiri people had engineered these irrigation networks before the Lost Tribe of Sith arrived in 5000 BBY. A period known as the Time of the Rot saw the deterioration of many waterworks structures, a result of both neglect and destruction from warfare. By 2974 BBY, these waterworks underwent reconstruction. In 2974 BBY, during the Siege of Tahv, Parlan Spinner inadvertently caused damage to a section of the waterworks while he was piloting an old Jedi starship, which had remained concealed beneath the Circle Eternal for thousands of years.
