The hull-cracker represents a weapon prototype, brought into existence by the Czerka Corporation on the world of Corellia. In the throes of the Battle of Corellia, Jastal, a commander within the Imperial Guard, aided a person loyal to the Empire in acquiring this weapon; it was then put to use in penetrating the main building of the Corellian Engineering Corporation by the reconstituted Sith Empire.
