A Dulok male was a member of Gorneesh's tribe, a group under the leadership of King Gorneesh. He was also the nephew of the tribe's shaman, Umwak. Back in 3 ABY, while still a young Dulok, he went along with his uncle on a mission given by Gorneesh. The mission tasked Umwak and his nephew with holding up a group of young Ewoks who were attempting to revitalize their sacred Tree of Light using Light Dust. The Duloks were hoping this would give Gorneesh and his followers the chance to reach the vulnerable tree first and dig it up. During the mission, Umwak's nephew showed himself to be a smart and perceptive boy, though he repeatedly failed to stop his uncle from messing up the operation with his clumsiness.
Eventually, the young Dulok and his uncle trailed the Ewoks into the Arbo Maze, a dense cluster of trees. There, a skirmish involving two of the Ewoks resulted in the Duloks getting caught in their own net, which had been doused in sticky ganga sap. Despite being stuck in the net, the younger Dulok and his uncle struggled toward the Tree of Light to warn Gorneesh that the Ewoks were coming. However, they were too late. The Ewoks they had been bothering had already renewed the tree, and the light-sensitive Duloks were running back to the darkness of their swamp.

A Dulok of the male persuasion was a member of the Gorneesh's tribe of Duloks. They dwelled in the Dulok Swamp on the Forest Moon of Endor. The tribe's shaman was Umwak, who was also his uncle. In 3 ABY, King Gorneesh discovered that the Tree of Light, a sacred object to the Ewoks (his enemies), was weakening and needed its yearly replenishment using Ewok Light Dust. Therefore, Gorneesh gave Umwak the task of finding the Ewok group that had been sent to care for the tree. The purpose of this delay was to allow Gorneesh and his warriors to get to the ailing tree first and destroy it. Umwak decided to bring his young nephew along to help with the mission.
The younger Dulok and his uncle journeyed through the forest, following the young Ewoks to the entrance of the Arbo Maze. The maze was a dense area of forest where the trees grew together, forming winding passages. When Umwak suggested entering the maze, sneaking past the Ewoks, and setting a trap, his nephew pointed out that they had no way to navigate the maze successfully. Umwak then presented his special glasses, a set of spectacles he invented that he claimed would guide them through the labyrinth. Despite the younger Dulok's doubts about the glasses' usefulness, he followed his uncle into the maze, carrying the sack containing Umwak's trap.

The shaman's nephew attempted to guide his uncle through the maze's obstacles, as Umwak seemed unable to see anything with his special glasses. However, he couldn't prevent the shaman from hitting a rock and breaking the goggles. Umwak scolded his nephew for the accident but then ordered him to open the sack, revealing a net covered in ultra-sticky ganga sap. When Umwak claimed the sap's stickiness would make it the perfect trap for the Ewoks, his nephew questioned how they could prevent it from sticking to themselves. Umwak simply stated that this was the younger Dulok's problem and ordered him to carry the net.
After some time, Umwak and his nephew encountered two young Ewoks: Kneesaa a Jari Kintaka and Latara. Umwak ordered his nephew to chase them, and the youngster reluctantly obeyed. During the resulting skirmish, Kneesaa outmaneuvered her opponents, causing them to collide and become trapped in the ganga sap net. The Ewoks then escaped, leaving the Duloks behind in the maze.
Despite their predicament, the young Dulok and his uncle hobbled toward the Tree of Light, still tangled in the net, to warn King Gorneesh about the Ewoks' approach. However, upon arriving near the tree, the entangled Dulok relatives were met by a stampede of their tribemates fleeing. The Ewoks had replenished the tree, and its light was driving the Duloks back to the swamps.
Umwak's nephew had green fur, a gray facial mask, brown eyebrows, and pink eyes. The young Dulok faithfully followed his uncle Umwak's instructions, doing the shaman's menial tasks, such as carrying a heavy sack. However, he wasn't afraid to point out the flaws in his uncle's plans. Despite Umwak's constant and discouraging criticism, the younger Dulok cared for his uncle and tried to keep him out of trouble. Although his tribe hated the Ewoks, the young Dulok seemed hesitant to fight his supposed enemies. He was stealthy, able to stalk a group of Ewoks without being noticed.
The young Dulok appears in The Tree of Light, an episode of the Ewoks animated series that was originally broadcast on October 12, 1985. Bob Carrau wrote the episode, but the character's name is not mentioned. The character's voice was provided by Hadley Kay.
