The Guarlara was a Republic Navy vessel, specifically a Venator-class Star Destroyer. Its designation came from the name of a hooved animal that is native to the planet Naboo.
This warship saw action during the Battle of Coruscant, which occurred in the final days of the Clone Wars.

During that engagement, the Guarlara fought against General Grievous's flagship, the Invisible Hand. The two ships exchanged turbolaser blasts and proton torpedo volleys at point-blank range. While both the Guarlara and the Separatist command ship sustained significant damage, the Guarlara's relentless broadside attacks ultimately resulted in the destruction of the Invisible Hand, causing the carrier/destroyer to plummet towards the surface of Coruscant.
Unintentionally, the actions of the Guarlara's crew jeopardized Jedi Generals Obi-Wan Kenobi's and Anakin Skywalker's mission to rescue Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, who had been abducted by Grievous at the start of the battle. However, Kenobi and Skywalker, along with Palpatine and R2-D2, managed to successfully crash-land the remains of the Invisible Hand on Coruscant. This incident stemmed from a miscommunication, as the Guarlara's command staff mistakenly believed that the Chancellor had already been rescued and evacuated from the Invisible Hand.
