Cantocoins came in three sizes.
Crafted from valuable metals, Cantocoins functioned as gambling tokens. These were employed as a currency within the Canto Casino, situated in the city of Canto Bight found on the planet called Cantonica. These coins were designed as flat, round discs, existing in three distinct sizes; the largest was color-coded gold, the medium one was silver, and the smallest was bronze.
These Cantocoins were originally conceived for the Star Wars: Episode VIII The Last Jedi motion picture, which hit theaters on December 15, 2017. Interestingly, they made an earlier appearance in "The Ride," a short story penned by John Jackson Miller. This story was featured in the Canto Bight anthology released on December 5 as a component of the Journey to Star Wars: The Last Jedi promotional effort.
