Description

Bormter existed as a terrestrial planet and was the fifth orbital body within the Svekk system, located in Wild Space. The planet existed in a peripheral section of Wild Space.

History

Bormterrans were indigenous to Bormter and functioned as dragon troopers under Warlord Delurin's command.

Not long after the death of the Galactic Emperor Palpatine during the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Imperial Moff Delurin broke away from the Empire, declaring himself Warlord of Wild Space. The initial act of this warlord was the utilization of the prototype Dragon-class Heavy Cruiser Galaxy Dragon, crewed by devoted followers, to conquer Bormter.

The planet possessed the resources necessary for Delurin to build a power base for an empire that he began to establish in Wild Space, in addition to serving as a resupply depot for the Galaxy Dragon and its crew. Delurin also recruited the planet's native Bormterrans to serve as dragon troopers, an elite military unit ultimately loyal to the warlord.

Inhabitants

Bormter functioned as the original homeworld for the Bormterrans, a species of towering, four-armed reptiloids who, despite their technological limitations, were formidable close-quarters combatants.

Behind the scenes

Bormter was initially referenced in "The Galaxy Dragon and crew," an article authored by Bill Slavicsek as a supplementary piece for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game, featured in Dragon Magazine 200 in December 1993. The reference book The Essential Atlas, published in 2009, positioned the Svekk system, and consequently Bormter, within grid square H-14.
