Bongo Bays functioned as repair shops for the bongos utilized by the Gungans. Furthermore, these bays offered bongo fuel, a substance derived from the fermentation of bubble wort. During 32 BBY, the Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn, accompanied by the Gungan navigator Jar Jar Binks, retrieved their gifted tribubble bongo from one such Bongo Bay.
