Boddu Bocck, a bounty hunter operating in the galaxy, was a wanted man by the New Republic for various offenses. Sporting a reddish beard and lengthy hair, Bocck was known for his camouflage attire, carefully selected to blend with the environment of his assignments. To enhance his safety, he also wore a protective blast vest. The New Republic Intelligence believed Bocck used a modified YT-1300 light freighter as his mobile base of operations.
Bocck's journey began within the ranks of the Imperial Scout Corps, where he explored uncharted worlds on behalf of the Galactic Empire. During these expeditions, he frequently collected living or preserved specimens, including creatures and intelligent lifeforms. Throughout his scouting days, he developed a preference for the Malkanthi Mark VII power crossbow. After transitioning to bounty hunting, Bocck continued his association with the Empire, while also accepting contracts from the criminal underworld. He was implicated in the assassinations of at least two teams of New Republic scouts. These actions, along with other transgressions, resulted in his inclusion in General Airen Cracken's Wanted by Cracken list.
Cracken posited that Bocck's arrogance might ultimately lead to his capture, as he openly flaunted the trophies displayed at his secret residence. Furthermore, he often demonstrated his sharpshooting abilities, a skill Cracken had witnessed firsthand at the Kellermin Competition held on Resti Kel.
