An automated fire extinguisher. Around the year 3951 BBY, basic droid units known as automated fire extinguishers were utilized. These devices, installed on rotating platforms, employed carbonite freeze beams to extinguish flames. However, their operational code could be modified, as demonstrated at the Peragus Mining Facility, resulting in the freezing of organic life forms. At Peragus, the reprogramming of these units was conducted by HK-50 in order to stop the miners from capturing the Jedi Exile.
