Ship-dweller

The commander of the ship-dwellers is in a dispute with his superior officer, Governor Quarg. The ship-dwellers were scavengers who would dismantle starships that entered the Drexel system to obtain valuable metals.

Origin

During the era of the Galactic Republic, their forebears inhabited the Korteen Belt, where they masqueraded as miners but were actually scavengers. They employed sonic jammers to disrupt the navigation of passing vessels, causing them to crash into the asteroids within the belt. Subsequently, the scavengers would plunder the wreckage for its valuable contents. These actions eventually drew the attention of the Jedi Knights, who evicted the scavengers from their habitat and forced them to relocate to the isolated, water-covered planet named Drexel.

Life on Drexel

They constructed the city-ship and resumed their scavenging activities, integrating the sonic jamming technology into their mobile city, which caused any ship that wandered into the Drexel system to crash. However, the indigenous sea-dragons were provoked by the high-frequency jamming signal and consistently attacked their ship. The scavenger's technical staff protested against the use of the signal, arguing that it was harming the sea-dragons, but their concerns were dismissed, and they were banished from the city-ship. These technicians soon forged a bond with the sea-dragons and became known as the Dragon Lords, opposing Quarg's attempts to utilize his jamming equipment.

With assistance from Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, the Dragon Lords successfully ousted Quarg and restored balance to the planet.
