Fasha Dansun was a scholar of alien civilizations, or xenoarchaeologist, and dedicated a number of years to the investigation of various cultures within the Kathol sector. Subsequently, she traversed the Marcol Void and ventured into the uncharted territories of the Kathol Outback. It was there that she encountered the Qektoth Confederation, ultimately leading to her capture. She was transported to the Qu'mock system, specifically to their research station, where she became a test subject. Her ordeal came to an end when the crew of the FarStar, a ship belonging to the New Republic, liberated her. Following her release, she joined the crew of the FarStar.
