The Farr family, originally from the planet Chandrila, were dedicated advocates of the Alliance to Restore the Republic and its leader, the Chief of State, Chandrilan Mon Mothma, and were strongly against the Galactic Empire. Within this family were two sisters, Toryn and Samoc Farr, who both participated in the Battle of Hoth in 3 ABY and lived through it.
