Farley Carson, nicknamed 'Stony,' served as a commanding officer within the New Republic Defense Fleet.
Commodore Carson, one of the first officers in the New Republic Fourth Battle Group, was given leadership of Task Force Apex. Due to the need for more New Republic military presence in the Koornacht Cluster during the Black Fleet Crisis, Task Force Apex was transferred to the New Republic Fifth Battle Group. Etahn A'baht, a Commodore and friend of Carson's, put him in charge of the combined Task Force Apex and Task Force Summer.
During the Battle of N'zoth, Carson's life ended when the Yakez was obliterated by Yevethan weaponry.
