The Equity was a Mon Calamari Star Cruiser of the MC80 Liberty type that served both the Alliance to Restore the Republic and subsequently the New Republic throughout the duration of the Galactic Civil War.
During 16 ABY, the Equity participated as a member of a warship task force. The force's objective was to seize the Executor-class Star Dreadnought named Guardian, which was under the control of the rogue warlord Gaen Drommel.
Captain [Volahn], who commanded the Equity, received the surrender from Colonel Niovi, Drommel's second-in-command. Niovi had killed his commanding officer after the warlord experienced a mental breakdown.
