Emesh Nar was a male Human who functioned as an aide for Ambassador Blains Vorlin. He was stationed at the Imperial embassy located on Etti IV within the Corporate Sector.
His assignment was to locate Jahan Cross following Cross's arrival at Imperial Pad 693. However, a communication error about the arrival schedule caused a delay, enabling Cross to roam the spaceport. During this time, Cross encountered Han Solo and became involved in a fight with some cantina patrons. Nar eventually located Cross and extended an invitation to a party scheduled for that evening.
During the party, Emesh confronted Cross, aggressively seeking information about Cross's interest in the Starks. When Cross declined to divulge any information, Nar cautioned Cross about the Starks' power and connections. Cross countered by reminding Nar that his allegiance should be to the Empire. Nar, angered, departed, leaving Cross by himself. Later, as Cross was being apprehended for the murder of Dah'lis Stark, Nar rescinded Cross's diplomatic immunity, declaring him a rogue operative. Nar was alongside Iaclyn Stark in Cross's quarters in the Imperial embassy when IN-GA 44 was deactivated. He then made arrangements to smuggle the droid off the premises.
Jahan Cross kills Nar
Nar returned to his personal living space intending to meet with an date, but instead discovered Cross awaiting him. When Cross demanded a quantity of credits from him, Nar responded with insults, labeling him an ordinary thief. Cross retaliated by striking him with his blaster, and persisted in demanding the credits, which Cross knew had been obtained illegally. When Nar denied possessing any money, Cross kicked him and revealed his knowledge of a hidden safe built into the wall. Nar proceeded to open the safe, but seized a blaster concealed within. He attempted to shoot Cross, but the agent reacted more quickly, resulting in Nar's death.
