Emd Grahvess was known throughout the galaxy as one of its finest architects, though he was unaffiliated with both the Galactic Empire and Prince Xizor. Gheeta once hired him to create the design for the terminal and diplomatic reception area situated on the planetoid of Circumtore. Following the completion of the structure, Gheeta intended to have Emd killed to prevent him from creating any further designs.
However, Emd was not easily deceived and made preparations to get away. Before Gheeta could arrange for his assassination, he arranged for a substantial bounty to be placed on his own head. Boba Fett took on the assignment and successfully extracted Emd from Circumtore. As a favor in return, Emd incorporated a hidden reactor core into his blueprints.
