Elora Sund was a female Sullustan Jedi apprentice who served both the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic. She held the rank of Commander within the Grand Army of the Republic.
As a Sullustan who exhibited sensitivity to the Force, Elora Sund underwent training in its ways under the guidance of the Jedi Order. This occurred during the decade of the Separatist Crisis, a period that troubled the Galactic Senate until the Clone Wars began between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Chosen to be a Padawan, Sund constructed a lightsaber with a green blade and assumed the role of Commander in the Grand Army of the Republic. Early in the conflict, Sund's master perished, leading her to join the Padawan Pack on Jabiim amidst the fighting there. Besides her lightsaber, Sund received instruction in the use of a vibroknife, which she favored employing in combat alongside her lightsaber or a blaster.

Sund, along with the other Padawans who had lost their masters, had to adapt to the constantly shifting conditions of the battlefield without a master's guidance. She commandeered a set of repulsorlift boots to enable her to navigate the muddy terrain with greater ease. Sund grew fond of her fellow Padawan Tae Diath as the group became increasingly close during the battles. Establishing a telepathic connection with Diath, she urged him to discover inner peace as he grieved for his own master, Nico Diath. During the final confrontation with rebel leader Alto Stratus, Diath was killed by a squad of assassin droids. Upon Diath's demise, the mental link Sund shared with him turned against her, causing her to experience psychic backlash. Overwhelmed by the impact of Diath's death reverberating through her mind, Sund succumbed to heart failure and died instantly. As was the custom for countless Jedi since the beginning of the Republic, Sund's name was inscribed on the Jedi monument located on New Holstice, while the battle's survivors whispered her name to the immortal memory moths that fluttered within the monument.
