Drilbia system

The Drilbia system existed within the Brema sector of the Outer Rim Territories'.

It also went by the name Drilb system.

The system known as Drilbia was where the Drilbian wine beverage originated.

Behind the scenes

The initial mention of the "Drilb system" was in the context of Drilbian wine. This occurred in "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, How I Wonder Where We Are," a source article for a roleplaying game published in Voyages SF 13. Glen Allison wrote this 1990 supplement for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game. Because this article, which situated the star system in the Dartibek sector, was not released through the official Lucas Licensing channels, its canonicity within the Star Wars Legends continuity was never officially recognized.

Later, in 2009, the reference book The Essential Atlas by Daniel Wallace and Jason Fry identified the system as "Drilbia" and located it in grid square M-17. Subsequently, the Online Companion for the book on StarWars.com superseded the Voyages SF 13 placement by establishing Drilbia's location within the Brema sector.
