A Krayt dragon pearl
Pearls from Krayt Dragons were radiant, tinted gems discovered inside the final compartment of the krayt dragons' digestive system. These gems aided in the pulverization of the dragon's ingested meals, becoming smooth over time from constant movement. They manifested in a spectrum of hues, including blue, green, red, white, and black. Owing to a unique refractive property, these pearls could be utilized in a lightsaber after undergoing meticulous cleaning, preparation, and installation, a process fraught with difficulty. Highly esteemed by the populace, each pearl commanded a substantial value (easily exceeding one hundred thousand credits), and served as tangible evidence of a krayt dragon's demise, symbolizing bravery to Tusken Raiders.
Pearls were produced by both the Common and Greater Krayt Dragons; however, the Greater Krayt's pearls were considerably larger and, as a result, more precious.
