Dox

During the Clone Wars, Dox, a clone trooper commander, served within the Grand Army of the Republic. Commander Dox's assignment placed him under the command of Jedi General Ronhar Kim.

Biography

Dox, along with a contingent of clone troopers, journeyed to Merson. Their mission was under the leadership of Ronhar Kim, accompanied by his Padawan, Tap-Nar-Pal. Their objective was to engage the Merson pirates, who had forged an alliance with the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Supreme Chancellor Palpatine, apprehensive about Kim's intentions to screen the entire Galactic Senate for Midi-chlorians, orchestrated the battle as an elaborate ruse to eliminate both Kim and Pal.

During the battle, Republic forces discovered they were outnumbered by a "factor of five," due to unexpected reinforcements of CIS droid forces and supplies bolstering the pirates. Both in the planet's orbit and on its surface, the Jedi and clones found themselves under intense pressure. At some point in the conflict, Dox sustained an injury, resulting in a cracked helmet and a significant gash across his face. Captain Gilad Pellaeon swiftly withdrew his naval forces, leaving those fighting planetside in a vulnerable and isolated position. Tap-Nar-Pal, refusing to abandon his master, attempted to provide cover by strafing the droid forces attacking Kim and Dox, but he was shot down and perished.

Kim and Dox sought refuge and witnessed Pal's demise. Kim, recognizing the battle's futility, became silent. Dox inquired about Kim's directives, sarcastically noting that surrendering was not a viable option. Kim instructed him to die with honor, to which Dox concurred. Subsequently, he led his remaining nine men into combat, striving to destroy as many droids as possible. Ultimately, General Kim, the clone troopers, and Dox all succumbed, falling victim to blaster fire.
