Dol Narlock was a Mon Calamari Commander of the male persuasion, see male, who served on the Republic transport vessel named the Esseles during the period known as the Cold War. By the year 3627 BBY, he had advanced to the position of Vice Admiral.
In the years following the conclusion of the Great Galactic War, he was involved in defending against Sith forces originating from the resurgent Sith Empire. During the conflict, Narlock rallied numerous soldiers and volunteers to take part at the onset of the Cold War.
In 3643 BBY, Narlock headed a small group of soldiers during a surprise attack led by Moff Rycus Kilran on the Esseles. As the Imperials launched their initial assault from the Harrower-class dreadnought known as the Emperor's Glory, Narlock, along with Ambassador Vyn Asara and the ambassador's security detail, maintained their position in the hangar bay while an elite team boarded the Imperial warship and successfully deactivated its tractor beam. Following the success of the boarding party, the crew of the Esseles were able to make their escape.
Narlock was a participant in the large-scale Galactic War with the Sith Empire and the war against the Eternal Empire, climbing the ranks to the position of Vice Admiral. He eventually took command of the starship called the Krakana and the Twenty-Ninth Fleet, following his service aboard the Blazing Torch. During this period, he also became the captain of the Republic Navy's dejarik team, and would discuss new strategies with his friend and fellow dejarik enthusiast Ardinondu Dipolus Daeruun. The Aphelion III was the most secure ship under his command.
Narlock had a daughter named Jesha Narlock, who admired him greatly.
