Docking Bay 21 was a landing area situated on the Core Worlds world of Coruscant. The cyborg Beilert Valance, a bounty hunter, docked his ship, known as the Broken Wing, at Docking Bay 21 during 1 BBY, before heading to the BG-RT's Tavern and Spirits bar located in Level 1313. After a gunfight at the bar, Valance returned to his ship and was met by Gwi, the head of the Hidden Hand crime group. Gwi presented him with a mission, pretending to simply be a messenger for the organization. Though initially hesitant, Valance agreed when he learned that his target was the Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader.
The premiere issue of the Star Wars: Target Vader comic series featured Docking Bay 21. Robbie Thompson penned the story, while Marc Laming and Cris Bolson provided the artwork. Marvel Comics released it on July 3, 2019.
