Destha was a Selonian of the female persuasion. During the Galactic War, she served in Murthil's Elite Selonian Guard, reporting directly to her den mother.
In 3640 BBY, during the Sith Empire's invasion of Corellia, Destha, along with a small number of elite guards, accompanied Murthil within the den mother's tunnels. These tunnels were part of the Selonian Tunnel Network located in Labor Valley of Coronet City. In this location, the Selonians of Murthil's den provided assistance to Corellian rebels who had sought refuge underground. The Empire, however, discovered the Selonians' activities. Consequently, Darth Decimus, the leader of the Imperial invasion force, dispatched an Imperial task force with the mission of eliminating Murthil and suppressing the rebellion.
The Elite Selonian Guards prepared to confront the Imperial forces from within Murthil's bunker, shielded by a force field. When an Imperial hero forced their way into the Selonian's chamber, Murthil demanded that they disarm and surrender, but her plea was ignored. A battle ensued, and the Imperial ultimately annihilated the Selonian Guard before defeating their den mother, thereby ending the uprising.

In contrast to her fellow Elite Selonian Guards, Destha wielded a pair of blaster pistols instead of an electrostaff or a single blaster pistol.
Destha makes an appearance in the video game Star Wars: The Old Republic. Should the player opt to fabricate the Imperial forces' agreement to Murthil's call for surrender, the Imperial is ordered to remain stationary while Destha is instructed by the den mother to confiscate the Imperial player's weapon. However, the player then either stabs or shoots the approaching Destha, resulting in the Guard's death and the violation of a promise. Murthil, angered by the deception, commands her guards to subdue the Imperial. Regardless of the player's choice during this mission, the Selonian revolt is suppressed by the Imperial strike team, and all of Murthil's guards, including Destha, are killed.
