Cracken Flight Group

The group of pilots serving under Pash Cracken in his wing of TIE Fighters was famously known as the Cracken Flight Group, or Cracken's Flight Group. These pilots famously defected from the Galactic Empire to join the Rebel Alliance under Cracken's leadership. The flight became legendary after they destroyed the Exsanguinator.

Within the Alliance Fleet, the Cracken Flight Group became well-known for their quick hit-and-fade attacks, including one of the earliest raids conducted by an A-wing squadron.

When his unit had to evacuate their base on Xyquine II, Cracken invented the maneuver known as the Cracken Twist in order to deceive the pursuing Imperial forces. Cracken achieved significant success in his interceptor, but his daring tactics encouraged his pilots to take excessive risks, leading to the deaths of several who attempted to emulate their commander's fortune. Disheartened, Cracken requested and was granted a transfer to Wedge Antilles' Rogue Squadron, where he served as Rogue Four.

Following his time with Rogue Squadron, Cracken went back to his original flight group, leading them during Grand Admiral Thrawn's offensive against the New Republic, which occurred five years after the Battle of Endor.
