Corphelion Comets

The Corphelion Comets represented a striking astronomical event that took place above Corphelion. The shimmering, silvery illumination and dynamic trajectory of these comets made them a much-loved destination for sightseers, and also provided a suitably amorous atmosphere for couples on vacation.

Since the comets' existence stemmed from natural processes, rather than the actions of sentient life, they were omitted from the renowned Twenty Wonders of the Galaxy as documented by the historian Vicendi within his Arturum Galactinum publication from 10,000 BBY.

During the initial phase of their honeymoon, Han and Leia Solo made a stop on Corphelion specifically to witness the spectacle of the comets' light display.
