The Sith Empire, in its renewed strength, seized control of the planet Drezzi before the year 3954 BBY. Despite the Sith Empire's victory over Drezzi, the crushing of the resistance force, and the execution of her husband, Queen Ressa of Drezzi, along with her children, had their lives spared by the Sith Lord Darth Nyriss. As an offering of gratitude for the preservation of her life and the lives of her children, Ressa presented Darth Nyriss with a holoprojection. At a later time, the Sith Pureblood named Sechel recounted the story of what happened to Drezzi to the Sith Lord Scourge.
The novel The Old Republic: Revan, penned by Drew Karpyshyn and released in 2011, references the Drezzi conquest in its second chapter.
