Christopher M. Hunt


Christopher M. Hunt, a American national, is a skilled video game art director, a self-defense instructor, and a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Krav Maga Worldwide. He boasts a career history that includes contributing to several Star Wars video games. In July of 2001, Hunt joined Pandemic Studios under Electronic Arts, initially holding the position of "Senior 3D Artist". During his first year, he worked on the title _Star Wars: The Clone Wars_. He received a promotion to "Lead Artist" in 2002, and subsequently, another promotion to "Art Director" in May of 2003. As the art director, Hunt played a significant role in the development of 2004's Star Wars: Battlefront. He remained at Pandemic Studios until its closure in late 2009/early 2010.

Following his time at Pandemic Studios, Hunt held art director positions at different companies, including Microsoft and Piranha Games, Inc.. In 2017, he was employed by The Walt Disney Company, where he was once again assigned to a Star Wars project as an art director. This time, he led the Star Wars: Jedi Challenges Virtual/Augmented Reality (AR/VR) experience, along with its subsequent expansions. This was a collaborative project between Disney and Lenovo, a tech developer/distributor. Hunt's influence was particularly evident in the final version of the "Dark Side Expansion." In an interview with StarWars.com, he explained, "We started to formulate a plan on the update being centered on lightsaber combat, with adding new characters and a little bit of a twist on how you wield a lightsaber and who you are while you're playing." In December of 2019, Hunt departed Disney to join Riot Games, Inc.. Currently, he serves as an art director at Meta while continuing his Krav Maga instruction.
