Chine-Kal served as a Commander for the Yuuzhan Vong during the Yuuzhan Vong War. He held the position of commanding officer on a clustership that housed a yammosk.
The vessel commanded by Chine-Kal contained prisoners taken from Ord Mantell and Gyndine. While on the ship, Jedi Knight Wurth Skidder attempted to convince the yammosk that Randa Besadii Diori, a Hutt also held as a prisoner, was scheming to assassinate Chine-Kal. However, the yammosk recognized Skidder's deception and alerted Chine-Kal to the fact that he was a Jedi. Jedi Knights Kyp Durron and Ganner Rhysode then boarded the ship. Although they couldn't rescue Wurth Skidder, they did eliminate the yammosk and escaped with the remaining prisoners. The ship disintegrated following the yammosk's demise, leading to Chine-Kal's death. Randa later identified him as a relative of Tsavong Lah, suggesting he was likely a member of Domain Lah.
