Child Of Winds


Child Of Winds, a male Qom Qae, was the offspring of the Qom Qae named Hunter Of Winds, also known as Bargainer. This individual aided Luke Skywalker in locating Mara Jade, and later supported them during their infiltration of the Hand of Thrawn. Following these events, Jade informed Child of Winds' father that his deeds warranted an adult designation, suggesting the name Friend of Jedi. While a direct agreement was not made, Hunter Of Winds indicated he would give it thought.

Along with his Qom Qae companions, Child Of Winds transported Mara Jade and Luke Skywalker to a body of water. There, they nearly met their end by drowning, but Skywalker asked Jade to marry him and they became married.

Personality and traits

Displaying courage, Child Of Winds, a youthful Qom Qae, eagerly confronted perilous situations to assist Luke Skywalker and Mara Jade in their search for the Chiss "Threateners'" base. He was easily irritated by the Qom Jha's contempt for him as a Qom Qae, and resented being underestimated due to his youth. This led Child Of Winds to possess a significant drive to demonstrate his worth, and the worth of his people, to the Qom Jha guides as well as Skywalker and Jade.

Being roughly half the size of a fully grown member of his [species](/article/species-legends], Child Of Winds possessed brown-gray colored fur and dark eyes. His height, measured from head to talons, was approximately 30 centimeters.
