Cedo Partu

Cedo Partu was among the first settlers and a trailblazer in the town of Mos Eisley, situated on the planet of Tatooine. During Mos Eisley's period of rapid growth, Partu, a prominent figure in the town, constructed a fortified structure intended to defend against the Tusken Raiders, a sentient species native to Tatooine. Many years afterward, this blockhouse would evolve into what is known as Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. A Dark Jedi named Sariss, also known as the Prophetess, once suggested that Wuher, a Human male who worked as one of the cantina's bartenders, was actually Partu's soul reborn.

Behind the scenes

The name "Cedo Partu" initially surfaced in the Mos Eisley Cantina Adventure Set, released in 1989, where it was used to designate the male bartender present in Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina. Nevertheless, later sources identified the bartender as "Wuher." In December 2006, Pablo Hidalgo clarified the situation retroactively, establishing them as distinct individuals in "Refresher Reading," an article featured in issue 91 of the Star Wars Insider magazine.
