Capture of DS 5

After Admiral Harkov found himself cornered on the DS 5 platform, the Imperial military immediately deployed Alpha-class Xg-1 Star Wings to launch a full-scale attack on the station. Mu gunboats once again materialized from hyperspace near DS 5, closely protected by TIE Avengers from Alpha group. The Imperial Gunboat's primary objective was to neutralize Platform DS 5, and any escaping vessels, with the intention of capturing Admiral Harkov. Simultaneously, Avengers were tasked with eliminating any opposing starfighters. Three minutes following the arrival of Imperial starfighters, Omega Assault transports were scheduled to arrive, further assisting in disabling and seizing any remaining craft.

Upon arrival, Imperial fighters encountered Rebel A-wing and B-wing fighters. Dividing their forces, Gunboats and Avengers engaged the approaching Rebel fighters while continuing towards DS 5. The first transport attempting to escape was the YT-1300 light freighter Geddawai. Geddawai quickly succumbed to the relentless barrage of Ion cannon fire from an Imperial Gunboat. As Gunboat Mu 2 passed over the crippled Geddawai, its passive scanners detected Harkov's presence onboard. With Geddawai incapacitated, the shuttle Toten departed from the platform, quickly followed by the transport Kolermigon. Once again, Imperial Gunboats redirected their fire, disabling both Toten and Kolermigon with extreme efficiency. While shuttle Toten contained only a decoy, the transport Kolermigon carried fleeing rebels, who were destined to be captured by Imperial stormtroopers.

Omega Assault Transports arrived precisely on time. With the transport craft disabled, Imperial starfighters focused on eliminating the remaining Rebel fighters and clearing the class C minefield surrounding the station, further facilitating Omega's capture of DS 5. After DS 5 was disabled, the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Garrett emerged from hyperspace. Almost immediately after Imperial forces began returning to the Garrett for resupply, the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Olinor entered the system. The Olinor launched Z-95 Headhunters in a desperate attempt to rescue Admiral Harkov from his impending fate. Adding to the challenge, more corvettes from Wurger arrived, soon joined by additional X-wing, B-wing, and A-wing fighters. The rebel force desperately tried to stop the capture operation, but it was all in vain as Assault Transports had already moved into position.

After sustaining significant damage to its shields, the frigate Olinor disengaged from the Imperial Star Destroyer Garrett and retreated from the system, followed shortly by the corvettes Wurger. Meanwhile, Rebel starfighters remained in the system, only to be swiftly destroyed by Imperial pilots.

With Harkov now a prisoner, he was presented before Darth Vader on board the Garrett. Following a brief interrogation, the Dark Lord of the Sith executed him for treason.
