Caeleb's mother

The boy Caeleb's parent, specifically his mother, was a Human female possessing the ability to use the Force. She resided on the world of Dalicron-4 during the era of the Galactic Civil War. In the year 3 ABY, Tol Skaros, a Dark Jedi of the Whiphid species, launched an attempt to abduct Caeleb. During Skaros's attack on the family's residence, the nek battle dogs of the Whiphid killed her.

Biography

During the Galactic Civil War, the boy Caeleb's mother was a Force-sensitive Human female. She married a Force-sensitive man and they conceived a son, the boy Caeleb, whom she delivered around 2 BBY. While Caeleb was in her womb, she sensed that her baby was unique. She was subsequently proven correct: Caeleb had seemingly unlimited power in the Force and was the subject of a very old prophecy foretelling the arrival of a "Child of Light." Unbeknownst to her, approximately one thousand years before Caeleb's birth, Jedi Master Duumas had foreseen Caeleb's birth. He then merged his consciousness with a tree in a remote location on Dalicron-4 to establish a Force-free zone as a refuge for the child. The woman's husband experienced a vision of the tree. Eager to shield Caeleb from the Force until he matured, the couple established their home near Duumas' tree.

The woman and her husband wanted Caeleb to have a joyful childhood and they forbade him from going beyond a stone wall that marked the boundary of the Force bubble surrounding their home. In 3 ABY, the family's peaceful existence was disrupted when Dark Jedi Thaum Rystra dispatched his apprentice, the Whiphid Tol Skaros, to capture Caeleb, intending to use Caeleb's power to resurrect the Sith spirit Valik Kodank. Accompanied by two Viper probe droids and several nek battle dogs, and with Rystra's directives to kill Caeleb's parents, Skaros attacked the family's house. The Whiphid commanded his nek dogs to attack Caeleb's mother and kill her, with Caeleb witnessing her death from a window. Distraught at seeing his wife's death, Caeleb's father was quickly also killed by the Whiphid, though Skaros was ultimately prevented from apprehending the child due to the timely arrival of agents of the Rebel Alliance. At Caeleb's request, the Rebels buried the bodies of his mother and father beneath Duumas' tree, which Caeleb believed would allow his parents to take care of each other in death.
