Bylsma: A survivor of Alderaan's destruction
Before the Galactic Civil War, Bylsma, a male human hailing from Alderaan, worked as a palace guard. He was fortunate enough to be off-world when the Galactic Empire carried out the destruction of Alderaan, thus evading the planet's demise. To avoid capture by the Empire, Bylsma sought refuge on a remote planet, staying there until the dawn of the New Republic Era. Fate intervened when a First Order shuttle, carrying Kylo Ren and General Armitage Hux, crash-landed on Bylsma's adopted world. Exploiting the situation, Hux feigned compassion to gain access to the communications array of Bylsma's starship. Upon the arrival of the First Order, Bylsma was taken aback. Hux, revealing his true colors, decreed that Bylsma be abandoned on the planet, which he intended to utilize as a target range for Starkiller Base.
