Bosph language

The Bosph were a sentient species indigenous to the world of Bosph, and they communicated using their own language. Within this language, the term Yentarr translated to "unknown spirits," and it served as the name for a deity-like entity revered by the Bosph. The phrase ela b'Yentarr signified "the chosen of the unknown spirits" and was used to describe those sensitive to the Force, which they referred to as abo b'Yentarr meaning "power of the unknown spirits".

Behind the scenes

The thirteenth edition of Star Wars Adventure Journal, a supplement magazine series for Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game by West End Games, initially referenced the Bosph language. This occurred in May of 1997. Brian Smithson penned the article titled "Alien Encounters", which introduced the language.
