Bora Boru was a male smuggler of the Bosph species, operating within the Outer Rim Territories. His gender was male.
He possessed the Bosph title of Farseer, a tradition linked to the Bosph and the Force. This title granted him access to Bosph philosophical teachings and a personal glyph. Following the way of the traveler of the Bosph wanderers, Bora Boru's body was adorned with star map tattoos. His animosity towards the Galactic Empire stemmed from their destruction of his homeworld, which they pretended had never happened. This act of "disremembering" was considered the ultimate insult in Bosph culture.
As a "Farseer," Bora Boru had the authority to claim ownership of objects by marking them with his glyph. This is how he acquired his ship, the Bosphon Forever, an act that necessitated killing the original owner who was understandably unhappy about it. The exterior of Bora Boru's ship was covered in glyphs, and the interior hull walls were decorated with Bosph tales and accounts of his own adventures. Access to the ship without supervision was only granted to those he deeply trusted.
Though deliberate and thoughtful, Bora Boru was a very successful smuggler. He could rapidly analyze situations from various perspectives. He often sympathized with those who disliked the Empire, and he would sometimes undertake jobs specifically designed to harm the Empire without payment. Bora Boru possessed Force-sensitive abilities and utilized Force powers as practiced within the Farseer tradition. His Force-sensitivity contributed to his extended lifespan beyond the typical Bosph. Although he never committed overtly evil acts, he was unfamiliar with the Jedi Code and had never encountered a Jedi.
