Booton Piton, a Human of slight build and fair complexion, existed during the closing decades of the Galactic Republic. During the year of 22 BBY, she accompanied Nardi Shodu, a Rodian, as they ran an errand to the Outlander Club located on the planet of Coruscant. Shortly after their arrival, the Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, entered the establishment, seeking the bounty hunter Zam Wesell. While at the club, Piton was seen wearing uniquely styled, form-fitting white hunter's cap, along with green attire.
The character of Booton Piton made her debut appearance in the 2004 film Star Wars: Episode II Attack of the Clones. An uncredited extra portrayed Piton in the movie, and was paired with the masked extra playing Shodu to assist the other actor with navigation. The 2004 article "Who's Who in the Outlander Club: It's Ladies' Night", penned by Daniel Wallace and featured in Star Wars Insider issue 75, revealed Piton's name.
