Bok Askol was a female podracer engineer of the Pacithhip species, originating from the world of Shimia. Back in 32 BBY, Askol was present at the spaceport of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine to witness the Boonta Eve Classic podrace. Before the race, this Pacithhip spent some time inside the hangar located at the Mos Espa Grand Arena, and later observed the race from the private box belonging to Watto, who was a junk dealer.
Around 56 BBY, Bok Askol, a female Pacithhip was born on the planet Shimia. Askol's profession was that of a podracer engineer, and she pursued the goal of becoming a skilled mechanic, hoping to join a podracing crew. She traveled to the spaceport of Mos Espa on the planet Tatooine in 32 BBY to see the Boonta Eve Classic podrace that year.
Before the competition, the Pacithhip spent time in the hangar for podracers at the Mos Espa Grand Arena, where Askol engaged in conversation with a Quarren near the podracer of Clegg Holdfast, a Nosaurian. Following this, Askol watched the race from the private box that belonged to Watto, the Toydarian junk dealer, who was present at the arena.
During the First Order occupation of the world Batuu in 34 ABY, Askol was 90 years of age. At this point, Hondo Ohnaka, a pirate, distributed several stolen identity profiles, including one for Askol, to the datapads of various individuals located in Black Spire Outpost on Batuu. These individuals were in the process of planning a heist for Ohnaka Transport Solutions, and Ohnaka wanted to assess their ability to recall details about potential cover identities, testing them with questions about each profile.
While on Tatooine, the Pacithhip was seen wearing a green set of overalls.
The character of Bok Askol made their initial appearance, though unnamed, in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, which is part of the prequel trilogy.
