Billy J. Mitchell


Billy J. Mitchell (born approximately 1941 and died approximately March 1999) was an actor. He is known for his role as Keir Santage in the movie Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi.

He also had significant roles in two James Bond movies: Never Say Never Again (with Max von Sydow and Andy Bradford, who also featured in several Bond films) and GoldenEye (with Derek Lyons). Furthermore, he appeared in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, alongside Harrison Ford. In that film, Sean Connery, who played Bond in Never Again, portrayed Jones' father. His last film role was in A Year and a Day in 2005.

Mitchell was known for often playing characters from North America in British films, a trait he shared with Shane Rimmer. He remained unmarried throughout his life.

Mitchell's death occurred in 1999.
