As the New Republic pushed toward the Core Worlds and waged war against the warlords of the Galactic Empire, they shifted from Kashyyyk to engage Teradoc's forces at Togoria, his fortress world. This action curbed the warlord's aspirations, but it came at a significant price. Despite this, the Thanos system remained under Greater Maldrood control, until it was eventually liberated three years later during the Post-Zsinj campaign. Following this engagement, the New Republic Third Battle Group advanced to Lantillies, joining forces with Contruum's defensive forces and securing a foothold on the Perlemian Trade Route.
