The clash known as the Battle of Tion occurred during the Pre-Republic era, pitting the Kingdom of Cron under the leadership of Pirate King Xer against the forces of the [Back Spiral] (/article/back_spiral) on the planet of Tion.
After King Ferece's defeat, Xer took the throne as the new King of Cron and initiated a series of military operations aimed at seizing control of the Tion Cluster. Subsequent to his conquest of the entire Kingdom of Cron and his triumph over the Three Allied Kingdoms, Xer turned his attention to the territories of the Back Spiral. With victories secured at Caluula and Brigia, Xer ultimately vanquished the Back Spiral at Tion, leading him to construct opulent palaces on Raxus Prime. Despite his empire reaching its peak, the Livien League remained as a power that successfully resisted the Pirate King's advances.
