Balic Cormac was a captain serving in the military of House Organa during both the Alderaan Civil War and the Cold War fought between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. He was a male Human.
In the year 3643 BBY, Balic Cormac and his soldiers apprehended Markus Thul, a prisoner from House Thul. Markus was leading a team of Imperial commandos attempting to infiltrate Castle Organa. Balic received instructions to incarcerate the prisoner within the Organa's detention facility on Alderaan and to extract any concealed information from him. Later, Balic met the new lieutenant of Havoc squad, dispatched by General Elin Garza in the search for Gearbox, a traitor within Havoc Squad. Balic gave the lieutenant everything they needed and configured the security doors to allow them access to interrogate the prisoner.
Following Markus's provision of intelligence and his plea to the Havoc lieutenant for the safety of his family, Balic expressed skepticism about Markus's truthfulness. After the Havoc lieutenant successfully thwarted an Imperial missile attack on Castle Organa launched by Gearbox, Balic was observed in the company of Pallos Organa.
