The Ay'Nat were a group of pirates active in the Naboo system during the Galactic Civil War era. They also made their presence known in the Tatooine system, where they engaged in conflict with the extensive criminal organization led by Jabba Desilijic Tiure. The Ay'Nat pirates utilized a range of starfighters in space combat, including G1-M4-C Dunelizard fighters, Rihkxyrk assault fighters, Ixiyen-class fast attack crafts, T-65 X-wing starfighters, and the AEG-77 Vigo.
During 1 ABY, Commander Dulios and Captain Kaydine of the Naboo Royal Space Fighter Corps enlisted the services of spacers to launch an attack against the Ay'Nat.
Approximately concurrently, they tasked an AEG-77 Vigo, accompanied by a protective squadron of X-wing starfighters, with extracting Jabba the Hutt's runaway droid, LIN-34, from the Tatooine system. This undertaking was unsuccessful, resulting in the destruction of all involved vessels by Jabba's skilled pilots.
