Aural-Biological-Chemical Scrambler

The Aural-Biological-Chemical Scrambler, also known as the ABC scrambler, served as an antipersonnel device causing sensory disorientation, frequently utilized by bounty hunters.

Features

This ABC scrambler was a derivative of the Imperial Army's anti-ordnance EM probe, but with modifications. Its function was to project a comprehensive range of ultrasonics, biological irritants, and chemical compounds across a large zone upon activation. This combination of effects would overwhelm the senses of a target, inducing a significant disorientation that could persist for several minutes. Typically, the launch tube had a price of 3,000 credits, with each individual pod costing 300 credits. The tube had a single-pod capacity. Additionally, some bounty hunters employed ABC scramblers defensively to shield themselves against guided missiles and other incoming projectiles. When worn on a belt or affixed to armor, the ABC scrambler generated deceptive audio, biological, and chemical signals, disrupting the guidance systems of missiles. During the period of the Galactic Civil War, the Loronar Corporation produced the ABX-110 Tube-Launched ABC Scrambler.
