Attack on the Pirik system

The assault targeting the Pirik system occurred during the Galactic Civil War and was initiated by the forces of the Imperial regime.

During the period of Imperial control, the Rebel's presence on Pirik's major population center, Corint City, held strategic value. Shroud Team orchestrated Rebel operations within the Divis Arm region from this location. Prior to the year 2 ABY, the Galactic Empire commenced an offensive operation against the Pirik system. As the attack unfolded, Lieutenant Ma'w'shiye narrowly avoided the loss of a limb when he leapt through a window on the 37th story of Strak Tower in order to evade capture by Imperial forces. Following the conflict, Rebel Major Norrion Glidamir received commendation for her contributions, while lieutenant Ma'w'shiye achieved legendary status among Alliance artillery personnel.
